Wednesday I was a collector for Cancer association. I went from door to door with kind of like a money box – asking people if they want to support the cancer organization by giving money. The money goes to research for cancer treatment.
Almost everyone did, because Norwegians are very generous people. Norway is a rich country, so I wasn’t surprised when people gave 200 NOK (Norwegian money). Some gave 100 NOK, and others gave 50 NOK which was very usual. Very few people gave less than 50.
But I was surprised and annoyed when someone didn’t give any money. There were occasions when people just said “no”, and slammed the door. How rude!?!
